Account Executive

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing markets in history, driven by increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. We're scaling our Sales team with customer-focused Account Executives who are eager to own the entire sales cycle and position Bastion as the best-in-class solution in a competitive market. This is a global opportunity for customer-driven Account Executives who can engage startups, provide compelling demos, and close deals with organizations looking to enhance their security and achieve ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance.

What you'll do

  • Identify high-potential business verticals and execute targeted outbound strategies
  • Lead prospects through the full sales journey, educating startups on securing their operations and navigating the ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certification process
  • Convert warm inbound leads into new business, delivering value-driven outcomes and onboarding customers into secured and certified solutions
  • Manage and improve the sales pipeline while evolving our playbook for repeatable success
  • Communicate the unique benefits of Bastion for each prospect, leveraging customized sales materials and demos
  • Share insights and feedback from prospects to inform product development and innovation

What we're looking for

  • Proven success sourcing leads, delivering demos, and closing deals as a top-performing sales professional
  • Background in selling SaaS solutions to startups, with a focus on short sales cycles
  • Strong ability to connect with customers, fostering trust and ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention
  • Interest in and aptitude for understanding cybersecurity requirements and the path to ISO 27001 / SOC 2 compliance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

Nice to have

  • Experience in cybersecurity or compliance sales
  • Existing network in the startup ecosystem
  • Technical background or understanding of cloud infrastructure
  • Previous startup experience
